Thanks for checking out my blog! As many of you know, I have had a rough past year. I was married in August 2009 and now almost a year later, I am getting divorced. I would like to say that I have been strong and put up a brave front, but I still feel weak sometimes. I try to stay optimistic and have a good outlook on the future I am hoping to have one day. I appreciate all of the love and support I have gotten from my family and friends. I love you all more than you know. I may not have much to blog about except my experiences and thoughts, but I am hoping that they will help someone someday.

Mi Familia



The other day, I was over at my grandma's house with my family. We brought my husband's niece Shailee over to play with my nephew Little Luke. They are about a year apart and they just love playing together. I was sitting in the kitchen with Little Luke (p.s. we call my husband 'Big Luke' and my nephew 'Little Luke') while we were waiting for Shailee and Big Luke to get there, and he says..." I'm just freakin out!" Me and my sister Wendy, Luke's mom, start laughing and she asks him why he was freaking out. His response..." I'm just feakin out cuz I just love her. I love Shailee. And it makes me freak out."  HA HA HA it was the cutest thing! Although little kid love is adorable, later on that day when we thought they were playing in the toy room, we come to find out they decided to go to the bathroom together!!!! And when more of my family showed up later that night, after we had taken Shailee home, Little Luke decided to tell everyone the story of how he helped Shailee go potty! lol Oh the joys of childhood! :) Good memories and laughs!

Wheeler Farm

On days when I am upset or just want to get away for a while, I love going over to Wheeler Farm which is close to my house, and walking around. ~*~Christmas time~*~

This Christmas was a fun one. It marked the first Christmas Luke and I have had together since we've been married. Sharing this Christmas with my family was a blast. We took away from tradition and had a Hawaiian Luau! Conch shell blowing contests, singing Hawaiian Christmas carols, dressing in summer clothes, and not to mention taking first prize in the limbo contest (my back took a beating for that one). It was a blast!!!! Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I do the memories!

Thanksgiving...YUM!


This is what I did for Thanksgiving as the rest of my family looked at the Black Friday ads... the things I come up with!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, so having discolored, or might I say, very colorful skin, may look a bit creepy.... but it was fun messing around and having a good time!
